Evening Standard Awards
Olivier Awards - Critics Circle Awards

Mel Brooks musical The Producers is based on his famous film of the same name and is about Max Bialystock, an operatically desperate impresario of Broadway flops, who teams up with Leopold Bloom, a public accountant who is as repressed as Max is flamboyant, to cook up what would seem to be a sure-fire scam, given Max's history: produce a show that is guaranteed to fail, sell more than 1,000 percent in investments in that show, and then abscond with the backers' money!

"A masterclass in knockabout musical comedy... there has never been anything quite like THE PRODUCERS" The London Evening Standard

"This glorious, hilarious, blissfully funny show" The Mail on Sunday

"Unstoppable laughter and sheer happiness" The Daily Telegraph

"A triumph... it had me in stitches. Do yourself a favour and go" The Times
